Using Tech 1 scan tester, monitor Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) normal mode communication. If there is an incorrect coolant temperature signal, see the appropriate TESTS W/CODES article in this section. If signal is okay, replace IPC.
