Code will set if IPC does not receive 25 valid responses from PCM, system voltage is greater than 6.8 volts and conditions have been met for 5 seconds.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- If telltale lights are on, this is a good indication of serial data loss.
- If scan tester cannot read serial data, ensure scan tester is functioning properly.
- If PCM serial data is available, circuit may be open to IPC. If circuit is okay, IPC may be faulty.
