Wipers Do Not Operate In Any Mode

- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between ground and wiper/washer switch connector terminal "D" (Yellow wire). If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is not on, replace fuse and/or repair open Yellow wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMΒ .
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If test light is on, set wiper/washer switch to HI position. Connect test light between ground and of wiper/washer switch connector terminal "G" (Purple wire). If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is not on, check for poor wiring connection at wiper/washer switch. If connection is okay, replace wiper/washer switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMΒ .
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect test light between ground and wiper motor harness connector terminal "C" (Purple wire). See Fig 1 . If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is not on, repair open Purple wire between wiper/washer switch and wiper motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMΒ . When repairs are completed, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between wiper motor connector terminals "A" (Black wire) and "C" (Purple wire). If test light is not on, repair open Black wire and/or poor ground connection. If test light is on, check for poor wiring connection at wiper motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMΒ . If connection is okay, replace wiper motor.
