- Turn hazard warning system on. If turn signals flash, go to next step. If turn signals do not flash, replace turn signal flasher.
- Turn hazard warning system off. Turn ignition switch to RUN position and place turn signal lever in left turn position. Connect test light between Purple wire terminal of turn signal switch connector and ground. If test light illuminates, replace turn signal switch. If test light does not illuminate, check for blown turn signal fuse. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, replace fuse.
- Connect test light between Purple wire terminal of turn signal flasher connector and ground. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, repair open in Purple wire between turn signal switch and turn signal flasher.
- Connect test light between Dark Blue wire terminal of turn signal flasher connector and ground. If test light illuminates, replace turn signal flasher. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Dark Blue wire between turn signal flasher and fuse.
