CAUTION: Column must be handled with care when removed from vehicle. Use only fasteners of the same or equivalent part number if replacement is necessary. Improper fasteners or tightening could result in column failure. Applying excessive pressure or causing impact to steering shaft during service may cause the column to collapse. If weight of column is supported by lower attachment, lower retainer or bushing will be damaged.
