Steering Column: Description
All models use collapsible steering columns. All columns have integral ignition switch and locking device. Optional tilt wheel is available with both automatic and manual transmissions. Some models include a gear shift interlock device. Astro, Lumina APV, Safari, Silhouette, Trans Sport and Van may include a Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
