  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Place blower switch in position which does not operate. Connect test light from wire of inoperable blower switch position at blower motor resistor connector to ground. LO position is Yellow wire, medium-low position (detente next to LO) is Tan wire and medium-high position (detente next to HI) is Light Blue wire.
  2. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, repair open circuit in appropriate wire (depending on switch position) between blower switch and blower resistor (located on A/C evaporator housing). See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
  3. Connect a fused jumper from appropriate wire (depending on switch position) to Dark Blue wire at blower resistor connector (located on A/C evaporator housing). If blower motor does not run, go to next step. If blower motor runs, replace blower resistor.
  4. Connect a fused jumper from Dark Blue wire at blower resistor connector to Dark Blue wire at high blower relay connector (located on A/C evaporator housing). If blower motor does not run, replace high blower relay. If blower motor runs, repair open circuit in Dark Blue wire between blower resistor connector and high blower relay connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
