Code A057 - Left Front Motor Circuit Shorted To Ground: Notes

This test identifies motor circuit that is shorted to ground. Fault will not allow motor to be controlled at requested current rate or will cause driver circuit to allow direct current to ground.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. This step checks for short to ground in motor high circuit.
  2. This step checks for short to ground in motor low circuit.
  3. This step checks for motor internally shorted to ground.
  4. This step releases motor pack tension before removal.
