- Turn hazard warning system on. If turn signals flash, go to next step. If turn signals do not flash, replace turn signal flasher.
- Turn hazard warning system off. Turn ignition switch to RUN position and place turn signal lever in LEFT TURN position. Connect test light between Purple wire terminal of turn signal switch connector and ground. If test light lights, replace turn signal switch. If test light does not light, check for blown turn signal fuse. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, replace fuse.
- Connect test light between Purple wire terminal of turn flasher connector and ground. If test light does not light, go to next step. If test light lights, repair open in Purple wire between turn signal switch and turn flasher.
- Connect test light between Dark Blue wire terminal of turn flasher connector and ground. If test light lights, replace turn signal flasher. If test light does not light, repair open in Dark Blue wire between turn flasher and fuse.
