Spool Valve Rings & Lower Bearing: Disassembly
Center rack gear. Mark location of pinion shaft flat on housing for reassembly reference. Press pinion at threaded end, until removal of valve and pinion assembly is possible. Note position of retaining ring for reassembly reference. Remove retaining ring. Tap out lower bearing.
