1992 Chevrolet Cavalier VL, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Notes

Circuit No. 2 supplies battery voltage to operate cooling fan. Battery voltage is supplied through ignition switch circuit No. 650 to energize cooling fan relay. ECM grounds circuit No. 335, energizing cooling fan relay and turning on cooling fan. With engine running, ECM will energize cooling fan relay if coolant temperature sensor Code 14 has been set or under following conditions:

  • A/C on and vehicle speed less than 70 MPH with A/C off.
  • Coolant temperature is more than 223°F (106°C).
