Power Steering Pump Belt
Power steering pump is driven by serpentine belt. Belt tension is maintained by automatic tensioner. Measure belt tension with belt tension gauge. If tension is not as specified, check belt operating range indicated by marks on tensioner. See SERPENTINE BELT TENSION table. If belt is not within operating range, replace belt. If belt is within operating range, replace tensioner.

When to See a Mechanic
