Tie Rod End: Removal

1992 Chevrolet Cavalier RS, 2D Convertible, 2.2 4, StandardSECTION Removal

Remove cotter pin and nut from tie rod end. Loosen tie rod end outer pinch bolt. Using Separator (J-24319-01), separate tie rod end from strut. See Figure . Unscrew tie rod end, counting number of turns for installation reference.
