Red BRAKE Warning Light
With ignition on, Red warning light indicates the following possible problems: fluid level in master cylinder reservoir is low, parking brake switch is closed, or bulb test circuit of ignition switch is closed. Red warning light also comes on if problem exists in base braking system.

When to See a Mechanic
