Proportioning Valve: Installation
1992 Chevrolet Cavalier RS, 2D Convertible, 2.2 4, StandardSECTION Installation
- Lubricate new "O" rings, proportioning valve seals and stem of proportioning valve pistons with silicone grease. Install new seals on proportioning valve pistons with seal lips facing upward toward cap.
- Install proportioning valve pistons, seals and springs in master cylinder. Install new "O" rings in grooves in proportioning valve cap. Install proportioning valve caps in master cylinder and tighten caps to 20 ft. lbs. (27 N.m).
