1. Disconnect battery ground cable and wiper motor electrical connectors.
2. On 1990 models, remove wiper module as described under WIPER MODULE.
3. On all models, using a 8mm socket, loosen two crank arm socket screw and lockwasher assemblies until socket releases from crank arm ball as shown in Fig. 16. Do not remove crank arm from motor.
4. Using a 10mm socket remove three wiper motor attaching screws, then remove wiper motor from frame.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
