Wiper/Washer Switch Tests
Check wiper/washer switch operation before removing modular wiper/washer assembly from vehicle.

1. At fire wall, remove retaining clip to free wiper motor wiring harness, then disconnect wiring harness from wiper motor. Pull wiring harness toward front of vehicle for access. Perform the switch tests outlined. Use a digital voltmeter to probe harness connector terminals with ignition switch on.

NOTE: A wiper/washer motor tester J-38136 is available for on-vehicle service testing.

2. If switch is OK, remove complete module from vehicle and perform the wiper off-vehicle checks.
