1. Remove case cover as described under TRANSAXLE SIDE CASE COVER.
2. Midway between sprockets and at right angles to chain, push down bottom strand of chain until all slack is removed. Mark with crayon or marker on case at bottom side of chain link, Fig. 11.
3. Push upward on chain until all slack is removed. Mark with crayon or marker on case at bottom side of chain link.
4. Measure distance between marks. If distance is more than 7/8 inch, replace drive chain.
