1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant, then remove heater hose and serpentine belt shield.
3. With a 3/8 inch breaker bar or equivalent, relieve tension in serpentine belt tensioner, then remove serpentine belt.
4. Remove water pump pulley, then water pump, Fig. 7.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
