With engine at idle, check for at least 10 in. Hg to EDES. Run engine at part throttle (less than 2000 RPM). Air should go into exhaust ports until system goes into closed loop, then divert the air to atmosphere. If not, check terminal harness connector to EDES or replace defective EDES.
