- Remove clutch countergear retaining ring and thrust washer. Install Remover Plates (J-22832) on countershaft, with open side toward spacer. See Fig 1.
- Support assembly in an arbor press, and press countershaft out of clutch countergear. Remove spacer. Position assembly on an arbor press, and press shaft from 3rd countergear.
