1987 Chevrolet Step Van P20, 6.2 J, StandardSECTION Installation
- Apply a light coat of high-temperature grease to main drive gear splines. Reverse removal procedures to complete installation.
- Braces must be installed with the elongated holes at the transmission end. Tighten the braces at the clutch housing first then at the transmission. Tighten bolts to specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ("M" SERIES) .
