  1. Manufacturer recommends replacing transmission oil cooler hoses at 45,000-mile intervals. Under normal driving conditions, replace transmission fluid every 100,000 miles. Replace transfer case fluid at 7500 miles, at 30,000 miles and thereafter at 30,000-mile intervals.
  2. Under severe driving conditions, replace transmission fluid every 15,000 miles or 15 months. Severe driving is when vehicle is operated under one or more of following conditions:
    • Most driving is in stop-and-go traffic.
    • Delivery service.
    • Trailer towing.
    • Most trips are less than 4 miles.
    • Most trips are less than 10 miles and outside temperature remains below freezing.
    • Driving in dusty areas.
    Replace transfer case fluid at 7500 miles and then every 15,000 miles or 15 months.
