New Process 435 4-Speed
Either multipurpose gear lubricants meeting API specification GL-5 or engine oils labeled for API Service "SF" may be used.
If multipurpose gear lubricant is used and the minimum anticipated atmospheric temperature is:
- Above 90°F (32°C), use SAE 140.
- As low as -10°F (-23°C), use SAE 90.
- Below -10°F (-23°C), use SAE 80.
If engine oil is used and the minimum anticipated atmospheric temperature is:
- Above 32°F (0°C), use SAE 50.
- Below 32°F (0°C). use SAE 30.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
