Speedometer Pinion Gear: Removal

1987 Chevrolet Hi-Cube 6.2 J, 400/M40SECTION Removal

Place drain pan under speedometer adapter. Remove bolt and retainer securing pinion adapter to extension housing. With cable housing connected, work adapter and pinion out of extension housing.
