Fuel Meter Cover

- Remove throttle body and place assembly on Holding Fixture (J-9789-118) to prevent damage to throttle valves. Disconnect electrical leads from fuel injectors. Remove cover attaching screws and lock washers. See Figure.
- Lift off fuel meter cover with fuel pressure regulator assembly attached. NO NOT remove fuel meter cover gasket at this time. Remove fuel pressure regulator dust seal from fuel meter body.
WARNING:
DO NOT
remove pressure regulator from fuel meter cover. The pressure regulator includes a spring under heavy tension which may cause personal injury if released. DO NOT
immerse cover and regulator assembly in any type of cleaning solvent.
