Input Shaft: Disassembly

- Support 4th gear with Bearing Remover (J-22912-01). Press on end of shaft furthest from clutch in normal installed position. Remove 4th gear and outer bearing from shaft.
- Remove brass blocker ring and snap ring from 3-4 synchronizer. Supporting 3rd gear, press 3rd gear and 3-4 synchronizer from shaft. See Figure .
- Using Bearing Remover (J-26946) to hold bearing, press shaft from bearing nearest clutch end.
