1. Remove snap ring and turbine shaft from overdrive carrier assembly. If necessary, tap turbine shaft with a soft faced mallet to disengage shaft from overdrive carrier splines.
2. Remove overdrive carrier assembly from overrun clutch assembly.
3. Remove overdrive sun gear from overrun clutch assembly.
