Fuel Pump Volume Check

1986 Chevrolet Camaro Base, 2.8 S, StandardSECTION Fuel Pump Volume Check
  1. Test fuel pump volume by connecting hose from TBI fuel feed line to a suitable unbreakable container. See Fig 1. Apply battery voltage to the fuel pump test terminal (terminal "G" of the ALDL connector). See Fig 2 for ALDL terminal identification.
  2. Verify the volume is within specifications. See FUEL PUMP PRESSURE/VOLUME SPECIFICATIONSΒ  table.
