(1) Seat the taper using a free-spinning nut, then install lock nut.
(2) If necessary, apply up to 100 ft. lbs. (136 N.m) of torque to advance nut to align with cotter pin hole.
(3) If necessary, advance nut to align cotter pin with hole.
