Intake Manifold: Installation

- Clean all gasket mating surfaces. Apply 3/16" bead of silicone sealer at front and rear intake manifold mounting surface of cylinder block. Extend bead of sealer 1/2" up each cylinder head. See Fig 1 .
- Install intake manifold gaskets on cylinder heads. Install manifold and tighten attaching bolts. See Fig 2 . Install distributor with rotor pointing to chalk mark. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
