- Install Crossover Alignment tool to hold levers in neutral crossover position. See Fig 1 . Remove all rods from transmission shift levers and place levers in neutral detent positions.
- Rotate shift rods until they are centered in transmission lever mounting holes, starting with 1st-2nd shift rod. Replace all washers and clips. Remove aligning tool and test shifting action.
