NOTE:
Adjustment is performed using choke valve angle gauge. See ANGLE GAUGE ADJUSTMENT TOOLΒ procedure at beginning of ADJUSTMENTS.
- Attach a rubber band to Green tang of intermediate choke shaft. See Fig 1. Open throttle and allow choke valve to close.
- Place fast idle cam follower on 2nd step of fast idle cam against shoulder of highest step. With angle gauge in position and set to specification, bubble should be centered. If not, bend tang on fast idle cam to center bubble.
NOTE:
Hold choke closed with a rubber band.
