Some 1984 2.0L L4 engines may exhibit oil leaking around the threads of the oil sensor switch (see sketch). Care should be taken when diagnosing oil leaks to include this switch. All 2.0L engines have ultra-violet (UV) dye added to the engine oil at manufacturing plants. Engine oil leaks appear as a yellow fluorescence under blacklight inspection.
