- Install aluminum pressure plate into transmission case with flat side up. Ensure lug on pressure plate engages one of the narrow notches in case.
- Lubricate steel and composition reverse clutch plates with transmission fluid. Install clutch plates into transmission case starting with a steel plate and alternating composition and steel clutch plates until all plates are installed.
- Install reverse clutch cushion plate (wave washer) into case, so all three of its lugs are engaged into narrow notches in case.
