Control Pressure Test: Notes

  1. Remove transmission crossmember side bolts and lower transmission slightly to gain access to line pressure take-off point. Connect a tachometer to engine and a pressure gauge to line pressure take-off point on left side of transmission case. See Item 91 in Figure .
  2. Replace rear crossmember and side bolts. With transmission fluid at correct level and operating temperature, pressure can be checked by road testing or by running engine with vehicle on a hoist as follows.
