- Remove front bearing using Bearing Remover (J-22227-A), Pilot (J-3369) and a press. Remove rear bearing and 3rd-4th gear simultaneously using Split Plate (J-22912-01) and a press.
- Remove collar, needle bearing, 2nd gear, 1st-2nd synchronizer assembly, 1st gear and key from output shaft using a press. See Figure and Fig 1 . Remove 1st-2nd needle bearing and thrust needle bearing.
