General Motors: CHEVROLET: Condenser: Camaro: Replacement
Disconnect battery cables and remove battery. Purge system. Remove horn assemblies and hood lock plate and support assemblies. Remove right headlamp bezel, headlamp, and housing assembly. Remove grille to header panel screws (On Rally Sport remove grille, grille filler panel and center bumper assemblies). Remove header panel to right hand fender and valance panel screws and place piece of protective tape on fender at right hand end of bumper from center of headlamp opening, inward. Carefully lift up and pull forward on header panel until it clears fender. Rest panel on right hand end of bumper. Remove receiver-drier to condenser mounting screws. Disconnect lines and remove receiver-drier from car. Disconnect condenser inlet line using Snap Ring Pliers and push condenser inlet line grommet forward through radiator support. Remove condenser bracket to radiator support bolts and remove condenser by lifting upward on right end and then guiding condenser inlet line out of radiator support. To install, reverse removal procedure using new "O" rings.
