Idle Speed (Buick)
Make adjustment with engine at normal operating temperature, air cleaner installed, choke open, and air conditioner OFF. Disconnect the hose from air cleaner to vapor canister. Disconnect and plug distributor vacuum hose. Open throttle sufficiently to permit idle solenoid to extend and contact throttle lever pad in idle position. Adjust solenoid set screw to obtain higher RPM listed.
Disconnect solenoid wire and adjust idle screw to obtain the lower RPM listed.
