Reassembly (With Floor Shift)

  1. Install housing with lower spacer and upper adjusting ring.
    NOTE: Short tang of spacer must be installed on side of mast jacket with "cutout" for upper adjusting ring attaching screw. Do not bottom housing on internal stop.

    Install upper adjusting ring screw. Leave loose for final adjustment after installation in vehicle.

  2. Install lock plate. Install directional signal housing with upper spacer. Install small flat spacer washer. Feed directional signal wire through lever support housing. Install rubber boot over end of selector lever housing, if removed.
    NOTE: Maintain 0.580" clearance between top edge of spacer and machined surface of lever housing.

    Install felt seal and lower adjusting ring into bottom of column. Install floor pan cover.
