Powerglide & Torquedrive
Remove air cleaner, disconnect accelerator linkage at carburetor. Disconnect accelerator return and TV rod return springs. With right hand, pull TV upper rod forward until transmission is through detent. With left hand, open carburetor to wide open throttle position. Carburetor must reach wide open throttle position at same time as ball stud contacts end of slot in upper TV rod. To obtain this position, adjust swivel on end of upper TV rod. Allowable tolerance is 1/32".
