1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Concours, Not Available, 5.0L Eng, Eng CD CCCSECTION Replacement

Remove fender-to-upper baffle tie braces on Javelin only. Remove upper air baffle and disconnect discharge-to-condenser coupling, receiver-to-evaporator hose at disconnect coupling. Remove condenser and receiver assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.

NOTE: If necessary to remove condenser only to gain access to another area, remove as charged assembly as follows: Isolate system by "back seating" both service valves on compressor, discharge compressor and remove discharge service valve at connection to compressor. Disconnect receiver outlet at disconnect coupling, remove upper air baffle, condenser mounting bolts and condenser-receiver assembly. Reinstall by reversing removal procedure, purging compressor before placing into operation.
