- With door trim pad removed, disengage solenoid harness from solenoid.
- Connect a jumper wire from the circuit breaker output at fuse block to first one terminal of the solenoid and then the other. If solenoid operates in both functions there is an open or short circuit in solenoid harness.
- If solenoid does not operate in both functions and no mechanical binds exist, replace solenoid.
