Water Valve

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Base, 2D Convertible, 7.0L Eng, Not Available TransSECTION Water Valve

The water shut-off valve is installed in the heater core inlet line. When vacuum is applied to the valve (controls set at MAX), the valve is closed, preventing coolant flow through the heater core. When there is no vacuum applied to the valve (controls set at any position except MAX), the valve is open, allowing coolant flow. The valve is also open whenever heat is required, regardless of the position of the mode lever.
