  1. Disconnect throttle rod swivel at throttle lever on carburetor.
    NOTE: Cable controls do not require adjustment (except Corvette).
  2. On Corvette, hold accelerator pedal to floor against stop, then move carburetor throttle lever to wide open position. Tighten cable clamp to 45 INCH Lbs.
  3. On auto. trans. models, disconnect throttle valve rod at throttle lever.
  4. On all models, hold throttle in wide open position, push throttle rod rearward (to place accelerator pedal on floor mat), and adjust swivel to just enter hole in throttle lever. Reconnect linkage.
  5. On auto. trans. cars, hold throttle lever in full open position, pull throttle valve rod to full detent position, and adjust throttle valve rod to just enter hole on throttle lever, Reconnect linkage.
