- IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT CAUTION: Procedures and specifications for idle speed adjustment must be followed exactly as outlined. See " Hot (Stow) Idle RPM " under Tune-Up .
- CARBURETOR AIR CLEANER NOTE
: Original equipment air cleaner element may be either polyurethane foam or oil-wetted paper. Polyurethane foam type may be cleaned in solvent and reoiled. Oil-wetted paper type must never be oiled, washed, tapped, blown, or cleaned in any way. Service on oil-wetted paper type element is limited to inspection, testing, and replacement, if necessary.NOTE: For other items affecting Tune-Up, see Diagnosis.
