1967 Chevrolet Corvette 2D Convertible, 5.3L Eng, Not Available TransSECTION 1964-69

To remove engine without transmission, proceed as follows: Remove hood, drain cooling system, remove battery and air cleaner. Remove radiator (plug transmission oil cooler lines). Disconnect all lines, wires, cables, and linkages from engine. Disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold, remove transmission from engine (support rear of engine), attach lifting device to engine and disconnect engine front mounts. Remove engine.

NOTE: Engine transmission can be removed as an assembly.
