Corvair (1967-69)
Move adjusting rod nut up rod to within 1/8" of end of threads, and apply 15 lb. load on clutch cable rod assembly and thread swivel to line up with hole in shaft assembly inboard lever with centerline of hole in lever located 3***/8" from nearest point of transmission crossmember. Assemble swivel to lever and tighten nut. Install spring and pull clutch pull rod forward to take up all slack at clutch fork, then align swivel with hole in outboard shaft assembly lever. Back off pull rod swivel 2 full turns, then assemble to lever.
