With choke valve fully closed and fast idle tang on throttle lever aligned with index mark on fast idle cam (see FAST IDLE LINKAGE ADJUSTMENTΒ ), use gauge or drill rod of correct size (see SpecificationsΒ ) to check clearance between edge of throttle valve and carburetor wall on side opposite idle ports. If clearance not correct, adjust by bending fast idle tang on throttle lever as required.
