1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Base, 2D Wagon, 5.3L Eng, Not Available TransSECTION Engine Code Location

Engine Code is stamped opposite number three cylinder on right side of engine block on all 4-cylinder engines. On 6-cylinder engines, number is stamped on distributor mounting pad on right side of engine block. On all V8 engines, number is stamped on front right side of engine block.
